Medical waste introduction
Medical waste refers to waste produced by medical institutions in medical treatment, prevention, health care and other related activities with direct or indirect infectivity, toxicity and other hazards, including infectious, pathological, injurious, pharmaceutical and chemical wastes. These wastes contain a large number of bacterial viruses and have certain characteristics of space pollution, acute virus infection and latent infection. If they are not managed and discarded at will, they will be mixed into domestic garbage and dispersed into people’s living environment, which will pollute the atmosphere, water sources, land, animals and plants, cause disease transmission and seriously endanger people’s physical and mental health.
